How To Change Verizon FIOS Router Admin Password? Default Settings!!

If you are using a router, then you might know that you can change Router default login password. The default password for Router logins is admin or password. When Verizon sets you up with their routers, there are two ways. The first one is for logging into the router, and the second one is that the Wi-Fi Password, which is the network key to connect to the router.

Notice down your Default Gateway IP Address from the IPv4 Default Gateway Field.

Now, type this IP Address in your browser’s address bar and then login with the default username and password; if you don’t understand what it is, then give a fast call to your Verizon Tech so they can tell you this to you over the phone.

You can get the identical information from manuals and the world wide web, but I do not want you to spend time searching for something that you can quickly get from Verizon. Once you have it, log in and jump over to the Wireless Settings tab, from where you’re able to change your Wi-Fi password, and by the Administration tab or Quicklink “change login password and username”, you can change the password to login to the router.

  • Connect to your Verizon FiOS network using LAN cable.
  • Open a browser and go to 192.168.1.1
  • Enter username and password
  • The default FiOS router administrator password is located on the sticker on the other side.

Username: admin
Password: (your password)

  • You’re logged in!
  • Now go to wireless settings and set up a new password.
